Reading Rally

Reading Rally events are one way EWI promotes literacy in the community. As part of EWI’s ongoing literacy campaign, the San Antonio Chapter hosts an annual Reading Rally for school-age children.

2023 Reading Rally - DeZavala Elementary Refresh in an Underserved Area of San Antonio

After learning that many SAISD libraries were due to closed by budget cutbacks, we knew this was a call for EWI of SA to help!

EWI of SA and its member firms generously answered the call and donated over $4,000 in supplies and products AND an additional $500 to revitalize their library, in supporting their STEM focus. The unveiling was held October 13, 2023 and the library was filled with students, staff and EWI reps!
